➜ Our tours are designed to initiate you into coasteering at your level. That’s why we tailor our adventures to your ability. Every tour starts with an introduction to coasteering with a detailed safety brief and a full explanation of every aspect of the sport – cliff jumping, rock climbing, wild swimming and more!
➜ Once the coasteering tour begins, you’ll start with very small jumps and easy climbs with everything getting progressively bigger and more exciting. That way, you’re free to find your feet and discover your own personal limit. During your coasteering tour, we’ll take you inside hidden caves, show you deserted coves and teach you how to jump & climb safely and efficiently up to ten meters.

Coasteering FAQ's
Definitely – our tours are designed for beginners and the majority of our guests are trying coasteering for the first time.
We will provide you with all of the safety equipment needed for coasteering including a helmet, wetsuit and life jacket – all we ask is that you bring a solid pair of shoes that can get wet and cover your toes and ankle.
Coasteering is a sport for everyone with an appetite for adventure. We want to make coasteering accessible for everyone so if you have any concerns or special requirements, just let us know and our team will do everything we can to make your coasteering tour the very best.
Our minimum age is 8 years old. If you’d like a tour more suitable for smaller children, just let us know and it can be arranged.
Coasteering isn’t without its hazards, that’s why all of our routes are extensively risk assessed and all our guides are trained & experienced in the ocean. We’ve been lucky enough to go coasteering around Sagres and other places for many years and this knowledge allows us to make your experience as safe as possible. We pride ourselves on safety procedures and only work in small groups with a low guest to guide ratio.
If you’re not a competent swimmer or a little bit fearful of swimming in the ocean, there will always be a guide on hand to give you the extra help you need.
You’ll always be wearing a wetsuit and buoyancy aid to stay afloat and we carry numerous swimming aids. You’ll never have to swim great distances.
We always begin with small jumps and get progressively bigger. Our guides will teach you how to jump correctly on the smaller jumps before we advance to the bigger jumps and, throughout the adventure, there will always be an easier option available for anyone who doesn’t feel like jumping from a great height. We’ll always try to encourage you to try and push your limits on our tour, but we’ll never put you in a position where you’re uncomfortable.
The biggest jump we do is 10m, but this is generally for people who are jumping with good technique and confidence.
Of course not – jumping can be scary ! We’ll show you all of the jumps and their easier alternatives so you can advance to your personal limit and have the best possible coasteering experience.
Our coasteering tours cost 55 euros per person – this includes all of the safety equipment, a full 3 hour guided tour with a safety briefing, activity insurance, pick-up and drop-off (between Sagres and Lagos) and awesome photos.
Each of our coasteering sessions lasts for 3 hours on average.
